Last year’s adventure!
(still not sure if I will make it in 2008)
in 2003, I married some wonderful friends @ Burning Man. This is the re-posted tale:

Sometimes I feel like I publish things into a huge vacuum. And, actually, I slipped into that mindset earlier in the week.
“I don’t promote enough.”
“I don’t work on SEO enough.”
“I don’t get enough views.”
But I found my way back to a peaceful headspace. I reminded myself that I publish because I love to share stories. I enjoy an audience, but it can’t be what motivates me.
Just follow the flow, and let go of the outcome.
From that place, I felt the joy again.
Of course, with perfect cosmic timing, as soon as I let go of the “audience,” I got TWO humbling reminders from the universe:
1) One of my most significant spiritual teachers, Jacob Glass, posted my 4th of July card on his blog.
2) The author of one of my most inspiring spiritual books, Rob Brezsney, linked to me from his newsletter.
Color me tickled pink.
I’ve been pretty inspired by the change in the political climate combined with this year’s Burning Man theme.
So I wanted to share some photos, designs, and photochops from the inspiration:
The Burning Man theme (”The American Dream”) + Feeling a surge in political process love = I feel extra patriotic this year.
And my Flickr stream shows it.
I call this one of my brother, “Wearing Your Heart On Your Sleeves”

Two gorgeous pieces of clothing lived in same closet , collecting dust… but it wasn’t until my brother put them together did they become…Art.
This video of my nephew, COVERED in blueberry smoothie is the first time I’ve seen him play “make believe” (he pretends to eat cake). It makes me wish I could remember what it was like to be two. I’m so blessed to get a glimpse of it through him.
“Happy Fathers Day, Mommy!”
“Delicious!”
