   Hi Halcyon,

   I just wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for your talk on “life as art” last week in Hug Nation. I’ve been reflecting on it everyday since then. What really got me thinking was when you asked yourself what was preventing you from being yourself outside of burning man; fur pants and all. I think we are all afraid, to some extent, to fearlessly express who we are. This is something I’ve struggled on and off with in my own life. You are inspiring me at a time in my life when I really needed to hear that it’s ok to be me. Sounds silly, I know. But I’ve been holding back for far too long. I even became somewhat of a hermit there for a while.

   So thanks again for the talk, it gave me wings. Now all I have to do is learn to go with the flow.
