Vday=Love=Grandpa

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

Last year on Vday, I co-hosted a magical gathering with Grandpa.

In this video, we invite everyone, not just the couples to join us in hugs and love:

and watch the video from The Huggable Day, itself. (This was Grandpa’s farewell party).
Much of the last year (The Hug Tour, Hugmobile, and the evolution of HugNation) grew forth from seeds planted on that day.

My thoughts on Scientology vs anon. Plus talk about Paint Night Group and creativity:

and talking about Vday, Grandpa, and being HUGGABLE!

ohmygod, I love this commercial SO MUCH.

Hug Today!

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

I’m excited about Hugnation today.

1) It is Vday week! And that means it is time to get HUGGABLE! (aka “Love Day” for the single people.)

Here’s the video from Valentine’s Day a year ago. We invited everyone to join us for Grandpa’s last party. The love was magical:

song by Aradhana Silvermoon.

2) We’re going to try out the new Yahoo Live!

The topic will be “What is Natural? What is Sin?”

See you at 1pm Pacific in the lounge!

SXSW Dreams

Monday, February 11th, 2008

As of this moment, I am not going to SXSW.

But I have not given up the possibility!

I’m trying to find a way to drive the Hugmobile out to Austin.

2600 miles at 5 mpg = lots to consider.

Looking into campground options.

We could even do a couple AZ HugNations along the way.

Think positive transmission karma for us. :)

**I’m going to try to start writing and posting more WRDS again**

While I love the idea of “getting back to nature,” I recognize that nature is a vicious place.

lovely visit to the SRF gardens

Monday, February 11th, 2008

I live a few miles from the original gardens in Encinitas, CA. But this weekend, Andicat took me to the Palisades gardens. WOW. Gorgeous and peaceful. There is even a shrine where a portion of Gandhi’s ashes are kept.
It is wonderfully multi-denominational, too.

here are a few pics…including the COURAGEOUS woman who wore 2 types of pink plaid with 2 types of pink stripes. Oh, Bold Fashion Icon, I SALUTE YOU!
