Halcyon really means “THE MAN”
Wow! Thank you for the wisdom in this video. Its exactly what I needed to hear right now. Reminds me of quote “your playing small does not support the earth”. The letter was perfect too….a peaceful approach that honors all energy.

hi! you’re as close as i’ve ever gotten to another “Halcyone”. same derivation, slightly different pronunciation. given to me by my mother at birth. still, wow! are you familiar with the myth of how the Halcyon bird came to be? Halcyon/Halcyone it actually a corruption of the name of the woman in the myth. It’s also the name of the brightest of the seven sisters – the consternation otherwise known as the pleiades. but I’m rambling. I just really wanted to say that discovering you and the work you do has been amazing and inspiring. Thank you!
