Hug Tour needs Help (forward & repost)

Monday, July 30th, 2007

The 7 city Hug Tour is looking for sponsors. I’ve done a crappy job of finding one, so I’m asking if YOU know anyone who might be interested.

It is VERY cheap (for this sort of thing) and should produce some nice media hits for some lucky web 2.0 company that wants to power a love tour!

I’m printing DVDs next week, so if sponsors want their logos on the DVD, they need to sign on QUICK!

Crafting Without Skill

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

You may know that while I have a mind that thinks up lots of crazy ideas, I lack the patience to learn many skills.

So occasionally I take on projects without any real clue of what I’m doing.

With that, I present you with another installment of “Crafting withOUT skill” This episode: The Comfortable Platform Shoes Experiment

Raisin Wisdom

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

After college, I lived with my parents for a year.
While there, I did extensive landscaping and gardening.
I actually consider gardening to me the first chapter in my spiritual growth.

One of my projects was a grape and wisteria covered arbor. I had fantasies of grapes hanging down through the wood slots as you walked under.
But the weather location of the plants never resulted in edible grapes. Still beautiful, but not edible.

Until yesterday.
Fiftenn years later, I ate my first glorious grapes from my vines.
I was giddy as I plucked off clumps of succulent grapes and truly enjoyed “the fruit of my labor.” You could taste the love.

Even cooler: My baby nephew ate some fresh grapes for his dessert.
